There's too many metroidvanias. Specifically, there's too many GOOD metroidvanias. If it's a genre you have any interest in, you are absolutely drowning in fantastic options.

This game is so fucking pretty man, it's unreal.
Competitive coop PvE dungeon crawler structured like an MMO raid but you're crawling a dungeon and getting scored on treasure recovered, enemies killed, % of map explored, time taken, lives lost, etc. Your final score is posted to a seasonal leaderboard. Optimize the dungeon.
