The experienced Iranian negotiators apparently ran circles around him.

BREAKING: ICE deported a Burmese man who doesn’t speak English to South Sudan—a country he’s not from and on the brink of civil war. He refused to sign English-only papers.

They deported him anyway—with 11 others. No hearings. No translators. Court order ignored. This is state-sponsored kidnapping.

This is quite a story from @propublica.org about how the Trump VA is ignoring the PACT ACT & other life saving care for our veterans. There’s no question that DOGE cuts are putting veterans lives at risk. Shameful.

The fact that the government is using charges of antisemitism to justify sending people to concentration camps is the most enraging manipulation of discourse that the current fascists have engaged in thus far.

They’ll live out their Nazi fantasies all while claiming they are doing it for the Jews.

Kidnapping.

Capturing a person against their will without due process is called kidnapping.

Transporting them to another country without due process is called human trafficking.

A squalid extrajudicial prison for people found guilty of no crime is called a concentration camp.

just in very plain terms: we send people to camps now if we, the government, deem it necessary, without due process. you can file a habeas petition in the united states district court with jurisdiction over el salvador, i guess.

This is correct. You will find no explanation for Trump's actions in economics or political science. You need to go deep into woke academic critical theory, and there it suddenly makes sense why white male nepobabies hate communal prosperity because it undermines their dream of personal superiority.

Americans wanting cheap consumer goods made in the United States by many workers getting paid high wages is similar to Americans wanting increased government benefits, decreased taxes, and a balanced federal budget all at the same time.

It doesn’t work that way, and can’t. You have to choose.

The “immigrant crisis” is a ginned up “emergency” to provide this administration cover to carry out its anti-democratic, anti-Constitutional, racist final solution. Don’t buy into it!

This is why I always talk about Trump administration foreign policy, not Trump's foreign policy. Trump often appeared to be rubber-stamping decisions made by others in term 1 and it was always wildly unlikely that in term 2 he would be working harder or have more understanding of the issues.
