PR-Abteilungen arbeiten mit Narrativen, nicht mit Prinzipien. Wenn ein Unternehmen heute “Nein” sagt und morgen unter anderen Bedingungen “Ja” sagen kann, ohne demokratische Rechenschaftspflicht, dann haben wir keine Kontrolle. Wir haben Vertrauen. Das ist etwas anderes.
Anthropic lehnte autonome Waffensysteme ab und ist gleichzeitig in Palantir-Produkte integriert, die Surveillance-Infrastruktur betreiben. Das ist kein Widerspruch, den man dem Unternehmen vorwerfen muss. Es ist der Beweis, dass “Unternehmensethik” immer selektiv ist.
Wenn Anthropic einen Vertrag ablehnt und OpenAI ihn annimmt, fragen wir: Wer ist das bessere Unternehmen? Falsche Frage. Wir haben gerade entschieden, dass die Grenze zwischen akzeptabler und inakzeptabler KI-Nutzung dort liegt, wo ein Vorstand es gerade für opportun hält.
“No real hero here” Das ist die ehrlichste Zeile in diesem Text. Solange wir Technologieethik als Frage von Unternehmenscharakter behandeln, delegieren wir demokratische Kontrolle an PR-Abteilungen. Lesenswert, auch wo der Text selbst nicht ganz fertig denkt.
