alright y'all i need some help with drawing...
last night i wanted to try and sketch my sona in a 3/4 view looking sheepish to "practise", but i was completely lost on where to begin.
i feel like i was too ambitious tho and should've kept studying front face views first.
what would you suggest?

for my fellow brand new up-and-coming artists, i gotta say... patience is absolutely key for good drawings. you gotta take your time and not press too hard with the pencil. also, try and break the character down to their fundamental shapes, and study art styles you like! that will help you LOADS
i appreciate it! idk about that though, i got a lot to learn yet before i can teach you... just gotta keep practicing and studying the style though and eventually i'll get there. i have to say though, i'm starting to fall in love with drawing and art now, so that is a massive change from before! :3
onwards and upwards from here! it'll take a while but i really wanted to share this sketch. i just built the head from an oval shape, added crosshair, and then built him up from the muzzle upwards. once i got the hang of it it came quite naturally! never thought i would be able to draw like this tbh
after about 3 hours i managed to sketch out this stupid idiot!
