Liverpool Embarks on Its Greatest Opportunity to Leave Man City Behind With Sunday's showdown at Anfield, the Reds will never have a better chance of leaving the defending champions in their wake.

Think of all the hurt Man City have piled on Liverpool in recent years.

Today, #LFC are favourites and City are on their worst run under Pep. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime.

For SI.

Is This the End of Manchester City's Era of Dominance? The reigning champions have lost four games in a row, a first for Pep Guardiola, adding to lots of uncertainty over the club's future.

Wrote this a couple of weeks ago on the upcoming end of Man City's winning era.

Pep has signed a new deal since, but there are multiple issues looming which need to be resolved. The end of the cycle is coming and there's no getting away from it.

I wouldn't have thought so because it's so separate. What's real though is winning loads of trophies for years with the same manager and the same message. How long can you expect to maintain it before something needs to change? They're several steps off their normal selves that's for sure though.

Said at the start of the season I thought we going to witness the end of Manchester City's PL dominance for good.

Now they've lost 5 in a row, a generation of winners are at the end of their cycle, and they've got a court case looming over them threatening their status in the league. Interesting.

Love how he speaks and his confidence. His promise combined with a team above him that prioritises winning instead of money should hopefully mean the corner is turned…finally.
