I don’t know the reason, but they’ve been doing this for quite a while at the Peach Arch border. We have not been down since the 🍊 was re-elected and we saw this happen on our last shopping trip (2 years ago?).

Thankfully my parents are not experiencing this yet, hence my apprehension. But I agree if there are any hints of decline I won’t have any issue taking a white lie action!

My sister wants to install a tracker on my parent’s car. They won’t consent. My aunt and uncle went “missing” for a day last year (they were fine) but it freaked her out. I don’t think it’s ethical to track without consent but it’s such a hard decision when trying to keep them safe.

I wrote that and then read the article - whoops. Yup I lived that. Not DFO but just as bewildered when it was happening.

There are so so many BYD cars we saw in Mexico City and my BIL just bought one in Australia. It seems crazy that we cannot even buy one here. Happy with this decision to have them be able to come to the CDN market.

Working in a communal office and there is one person who only fills up the kitchen kettle with enough water for themselves…. shows just how selfish a person can be.

I have zero experience doing anything with my hair so this will def be a giant learning curve! But I did blow dry and use the “brush” and it’s very smooth and shiny ✨

I still get Xmas money from my parents (weird at 51, I know!!) so I decided to splurge and get a Dyson Airwrap which was delivered last night. I’m going to spend the day learning how to use it rather than doomscrolling and learn how the world is falling apart.

First existential crisis / mental breakdown of the year behind me. Oh how I hope 2026 is a better year all around.

I mean they also had conversations in earlier episodes this season that included the word “trauma” so it’s not exactly true to the times in many ways. I thought it was a sweet scene that could have a positive impact for those watching.

I’ve been in such a bad mood that I’ve decided to start baking. It’s 5:45pm on Xmas Eve LOL

I had heard all the buzz so my gay BFF and I tried to watch it during his visit this week. We could not make it through Ep 1 because the acting was just so bad. He was like “maybe this makes me a bad gay, but I cannot”. LOL maybe I’ll try again.

I am a pedestrian 99.9% of the time so I get how bad this weather is and how awful most drivers are, but FFS stick to crosswalks (or at least intersections) and don’t jump from behind parked cars in the dark if you want to live.

I’m very tired. It’s raining so hard.
Driving down a dark busy side street and 3 pedestrians walked out between parked cars into traffic wearing all black. We slammed on the brakes where I (the passenger) blare the horn. And then? Rolled down the windows to yell “DO YOU WANT TO DIE?!” Ugh.

So it’s like the gay version of 50 Shades of Grey. Those books were so so bad but I needed to know what happened hahahaha
