I’ve played a LOT of weird games tho. off the top of my head I’d recommend Cyber Series: Base Wars for the NES, which is a combination Baseball/Management Sim/2D Combat game.

not really an artist per say, but street art! I grew up in a town with a lot of trains and graffiti on said trains. i also played a lot of "y2k" era games that had been influenced by street art, pop art, and the nascent computer age-- so i tend to drift to bright colors, concise shapes, distorts etc

the long and short of it is that i wanted my mod to load specific icons for mods that have Unique portraits on certain variants, such as powered up states, but being blunt it is A) probably more work than it's worth and B) definitely outside of my coding skill
