It's been one of those days where the slightest inconvenience is one thing too many and gets me irritated.
My #AppleWatch randomly unpaired from my #iPhone and won't reconnect. This after finding out my Kindle is no longer supported by Amazon. Don't you just love planned obsolescence?

Had a no-good, rotten, very bad day at work today and I happened to be passing by a Coco+Hazel on my way home, and whoops, ended up consuming the entirety of this beast of a milkshake. Enjoyed every bit of it though!
Still unbelievable that this orange turd gets to verbally defecate on TV whenever he wants and the media just mindlessly acquiesces. #Trump #FDT #ImpeachTrump
I miss the days when people at least had the honesty to say they didn’t want to do something, rather than saying “yes” and then never following through or communicating that they changed their mind. If it’s an issue of not wanting to offend, I’m way more offended by being strung along/led on.

A viral dog rescue from 2016 is now immortalized with a statue in Kazakhstan. When a dog fell into the Sayran reservoir, bystanders formed a human chain to pull him to safety. The statue is a reminder of the value of unity, solidarity and collective action. 14/10 for all

So the answer to this horrible tragedy is to traumatize the accused with a lengthy prison sentence, when this was in all likelihood a horrible accident? Yeah, we need to take a long hard look at sentencing in this country.
Sad as this story is, I'm finding it really wild (in a bad way) that we charge 11 year olds with murder. It flies in the face of established science that says kids under the age of 18 are still developing mentally and cognitively. I'm sorry but this is a real stretch for me bsky.app/profile/12on...
Working on my #FantasyBaseball draft and I see a player named Charlie Condon. But I wasn't looking very closely and I swear I saw Charlie Condom. Nearly spat out my drink all over my computer, lol! #baseball #MLB

It’s early March and temperatures here in Virginia SHOULD be in the 40s for highs and 20s at night but we’re having a heat wave and we’ve been near 80ºF for a week now. Plants at the nursery are waking up too early…our avg last frost date isn’t until mid-April, sometimes late April 😬
And newspapers wonder why no one takes them seriously anymore and consequently readership has collapsed, lmao bsky.app/profile/rich...
I need to make at least $2000 a month just to get by, and that’s somehow “affordable” in the eyes of this paper? Yeah, ok.
If the shoe fits….
Hi! I appreciate the invite but I left Twitter after Elon Musk took it over and started “making changes.” So I’m only on here and Mastodon now. I’m pretty good about keeping my queue filled up and auto draft turned on when I’m at work. Best of luck!

@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social wants House Dems to “behave themselves” during this #StateOfTheUnion. I hope they ignore him and get rowdy. The future doesn’t belong to corporate-owned centrists.

We could be doing so much better; we absolutely have the money for a world class transit system. We have the money to make healthcare affordable if not free. Same with so many other issues. But we keep getting bogged down in culture wars.
The number of people who are apparently ok with spending insane amounts of time sitting in traffic every morning and evening is mind boggling, doing nothing productive. I mean, sure, I like to listen to podcasts during my commute too but I also want to just get the hell home and relax, have dinner.
Mind blowing the things we could fix if we simply made billionaires pay taxes instead of subsidizing their extravagant lifestyles. Because let me tell you, housing insecurity is not a great thing to go through.
