I'm glad that the length of the term is fifteen years because that gives members enough time to build momentum for their nominees without feeling that every nomination is a "last chance" scenario.

Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony will return to Cleveland in 2027 Cleveland has not hosted a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony since 2024 — but that all changes next year.

In this interview, museum president Greg Harris says the induction ceremony locations are "sticking with a three year cycle."

He also says the Fan Vote isn't weighted more than a single ballot so it doesn't penalize artists who are no longer active and don't have large social media followers.

Some term limit clarification. On his latest podcast, Alan Light mentioned 15 years as the new Nominating Committee term limit. That would suggest the five members below would have been removed (in addition to Alan Light).
