Bit of a goofy smile on her face, this is my daughter, outdoors. You can see some of her hair and how it's very long. It goes down almost to her mid thighs.

I have my daughter's permission to share some photos I took of her last night. I can't believe she's already 24 and getting close to 25 years old!

It's election day, in Ontario. I hope lots of people make it out to vote despite it being winter. Our polls seemed busy this morning for a small town (3000 people).

Me, standing at home wearing a wig. The wig is a 22-inch, grey balayage, synthetic lace front. I am smiling.

I've been struggling with hair loss for a while, and while Rogaine, Nioxin, and laser therapy are helping, I'm now playing with wigs. I haven't spent much money yet, and I don't know how comfortable I would be going out in public yet, but I'm having fun.

So if you're ever going through this, I'm happy to talk and share. And I wish you the best outcomes. #GYN #Surgery

I was pretty miserable. But I would do it again, since now I can poop normally, lol, and my insides are staying inside. It's weird though, how there are few women to talk to about this stuff. I don't know many who've experienced it, let alone been comfortable to discuss it. #GYN #Surgery

Me, lying in a hospital bed in a hospital gown with my piercings removed and my face looking kind of swollen.

Today is the 2nd anniversary of having my major pelvic reconstruction surgery.

I was in the hospital only a few days but took 3 months to return to work. It took 6 months to start feeling like myself & a year to go full days without pain. I would do it again, but man, it was hard. #GYN #Surgery
