The statue of Eros in Piccadilly Circus silhouetted against a cloudy sky
Popularly known as Eros this statue is located in Piccadilly Circus. Officially named the Shaftesbury Memorial Fountain. The statue actually depicts the twin brother of Eros, Anteros.
I was particularly pleased with the sun behind the clouds highlighting the bow.

I always keep my eyes open for a dramatic skyscape behind icons of London. Here is The Quadriga on Wellington Arch at Hyde Park Corner.

Looking up at the Queen's House Tulip Staircase. I was very pleased with the dramatic lighting just picking up the detail of the balustrade.

London is full of quiet little spaces just off main streets.
Pickering Place is located on St James's Street. Hidden down a narrow alleyway next to the Berry Bros. & Rudd wine merchant, it is famously cited as the location of London's last public duel.

Postman's Park is a quiet public garden in the City of London, famous for its Memorial to Heroic Self-Sacrifice. Located a short distance north of St Paul's Cathedral, it is one of the largest open spaces in the City, though it measures just 0.67 acres.

'The world is crying out for peace. Peter Walker’s beautiful installation gives voice to the thousands who have written their hopes on the soaring doves.'

Paul Cocksedge's Coalescence at the Painted Hall.
The installation was designed to spark conversations about fossil fuel dependence, energy consumption, and the transition to net zero.
Lovely to sit and stare at though!
