I've done my 1st test print of the Reidpath tank! It's come out quite well, but there's a few things I've got to tweak before it goes up on the shop. I recon the first batch will be up for sale in the next few days! ๐

The first one of my theme park diesels that I've seen all painted up! Shared with permission from the painter. I really like how it's come out! ๐
A little preview of what I've been working on ๐๐๐๐
This week I've been continuing my adventures in N6.5 Scale. I shrank my NDM-6 Diesel and made some appropriate Darjeeling Railway looking coaches to match. Given its size, it's too small for me to motorise, so a Rokuhan 'Z Shorty' motor is hidden in the 1st coach. ๐
I'm not sure if this rivals yesterday's diesel kit, but this is what I've been working on! It's a kit based on the Stewart-Reidpath standard 0-6-0. It's still a work in progress, and I'll share more updates soon. It's currently designed to fit the old tooling terrier chassis.
Honestly, I'm shocked at how many have sold already ๐
Here it is, what you've all been waiting for! And yes, it's actually, seriously, on the shop right now. We've all been to some kind of attraction and seen a diesel loco like this, right? Anyways, go buy one! Check back tomorrow for a better announcement and happy APRIL FOOLS! ๐
We're about to start a new month and what time would be better to announce a new kit! I wonder what it could be! You'll find out on the 1st of April... ๐
I've been playing trains today! Also, it's a good time to mention that there's 15% off for multiple purchases of my kits all this week! And there'll be a new kit announcement soon ๐
I'll be at the London Festival this year! Look out for me on the Glyn Valley Tramway stand, I'll be selling model kits to findraise for the tramway's restoration. Come along and say hi and find out what's going on at Chirk Station! ๐
Not long until the Statfold Spectale of Steam! A whopping 14 narrow gauge locos in steam across the weekend! I'll be back this year supporting the GVT Trust. Profits from my kits will be going to help the tramway. It's going to be a great event, I hope to see some of you there!
A 3rd kit joins the shop this week! An old kit in a new form, this little O&K style loco. The 1st version was made for the minitrix 060 chassis. Now, this new version replaces that for (who guessed) the ever classic Kato 109! ๐๐
I have a new kit for the shop! This is Albert. (Or my version at least). He's based on the Rev. Awdry's own Albert Mk2 from his Mid Sodor layout. I've tried to capture the essence of the original in my own little tramway version, I think I got pretty close! ๐
Can you tell its my 1st time doing voice-over? Lol
Have you heard about our new build loco project yet?! The GVT Trust was kindly donated the frames and several other parts by the Castro family. GVT No.5 will be named Christopher in honor of Cristopher Castro, her builder. We hope that with your help, we can have her in steam in the next few years!
Almost 5 years between these two diesels! My first ever diesel kit was starting to look very old n out of place on the shop, so I gave it an update! The few originals that remain are on discount, and the new ones are available now! Go take a look! ๐

We're all excited to be heading back to Statfold! The trust stand will have some new displays, and once again, we will be selling DoubleM Models kits with the profits helping restore the Glyn Valley Tramway! Come talk to us about all that's happening at Chirk! ๐
Please, if you love railways and all things narrow gauge, give the GVT Trust a share and a follow if you can! We need all the help we can get if we're going to re-open the line soon. It won't be long now till the 1st train movement since 1935!
Now what could I be doing with this Reidpath tank that I've currently got on loan... ๐
Yesterday, the Glyn Valley Tramway Trust's loyal team of volunteers made the long journey down to Somerset to collect some narrow gauge rolling stock and points! These will be at Chirk soon, but first, they will head to C.J.S Heritage engineering for re-gauging and restoration. ๐๐๐
I drove a locomotive for the 1st time today
We're off on a little adventure today!
It's based on a Baldwin 10-12-D.
I've been sent this photo! I love seeing the kit painted up so well! I still haven't painted one myself yet... ๐ (I'll get round to it soon) I'm so glad people like them, they've been selling so fast! Thank you!! ๐
A spur of the moment bit of inspiration (or insanity) lead me to making a Daisy just as the Rev. Awdry did! A hacksaw, knife and file was all it took! I didn't expect it to be so easy. I'll give the bodyshell a prime tomorrow, then I'll go looking for some green paint!
What a difference 4 years makes! Secundus (left) was completed last night, and Primus was made back in 2022. The biggest change between these two was when I upgraded my printers early last year. I can't believe DoubleM turns 5 this month! ๐
I had my whole perspective changed the other day when I learned who 'Auntie Curlie' aka 'LBSC' was! I already knew about Beyer, but that was a pleasant surprise! You're doing great work, Anthony. One day, this queer hopes to help build another one of Beyer's lovely little steam trams!
The GVT tram has gained coaches! Some freelance Glyn style ones that hide the motor chassis the best they can. I'm loving modelling narrow gauge in N scale! I'm painting the tram up at the moment. ๐
I'm having a go at making a N6.5 kit (N scale, narrow gauge) It's a test print of the tram to see if it's come out ok. It's a dummy that'll be propelled by a rokuhan shorty chassis, im working on a coach body to go over it. Hopefully, it'll be on display at the show on the 31st!
The new chassis have arrived on the shop! And a re-stock of Kato chassis too. As these sell, they'll help fund a bigger variety of donor chassis for kits! ๐๐๐๐
