Phoenix has a crazy ton of conferences. Before my dad retired, he’d be in town for a conference at least once a year. Also, if you’re coming to Phoenix next year, that’s prime high season, and Spring Training starts at the end of Feb now (used to be March only). Reserve hotels now!

Saw Bruno Mars tonight. He’s such a great performer and has the vocal chops to match. And I’m just as impressed by his band, the Hooligans. Love them. Especially the horns. Definitely go see him on tour if you can! Anderson.Paak is the DJ, so you get Silk Sonic too!

Tonight’s #Euphoria really was something. Graphic even by Euphoria standards. I know there was a time jump and the kids that were in HS are now in their early 20s but they’ve all become weird versions of their former selves. But it’s episode 1 and I can’t wait to se how this season plays out.

It definitely was! And I’m sad knowing we’ll likely never see them broadcast together again. But I’m happy they got one last game together. For them and for us.

The (very) long nightmare is over in Kings Land. Glad it’s over with and we can all look forward to the massive anxiety that’s still to come with the Lottery and Draft and free agency. Weeeeeeeeee!

Part of me also thinks this is a money issue between those terrible contracts, still paying MB, and knowing 2 mil is chump change compared to what a more experienced coach will command. Plus, possibly also losing money on the fan side (tix, merch, F&B) with so many fans revolting.

I think his contract situation helps him and the team in this regard. One year guaranteed at 2 million next season (cheap), then a team option the following season. If he gets a healthy and better roster, let’s see what he can do. If he does but still fails, they just decline the option.

Is Aari expected to eventually re-sign with the Fever?

I’m still thinking about the splash down and recovery from yesterday and I legitimately wonder if the ride from the ocean up into the helicopter was the scariest thing they did over the last 10 days. That looked terrifying. Ignore the hurtling towards Earth thing they completed just prior. 🤣

If they’d been able to use the beginning of the season as their on ramp instead of the middle of the season (ie started “winning” earlier) they might’ve won 30+ games.
