Ensuring everyone is treated fairly and equitably is just common decency. Companies that politicise this by removing or undermining rights for its employees will become bad places to work and will probably struggle to remain competitive in the long run.
The "censorship" language will grab the headlines but I strongly encourage reporters and commentators to also pay attention to the language on how Meta plans to dilute its community guidelines that protect people and groups from harm daily. That move could have a profound impact.
