The labyrinth was created and built by local man Andrew Guthrie who lived all his 74 years of life in the village. I was fortunate to know him in his later years and was honoured to be considered a friend by him. Dunure castle was used as Silkie Island and Dunure Harbour was used as a double for Ayr harbour in series 3.

Dunure Castle & Labyrinth. Popped down the Ayrshire coast to do a sunset shoot last night. Lots of images to process but I think this is a good one to start them off. Dunure is probably best known outside of Scotland for providing locations for season 3 of Outlander. More info in the ALT text.

The area around the Royal Exchange square made for an interesting contrast in building styles which is made clearer with a blue sky backdrop.

Glasgow urban. I had to go into Glasgow early Saturday morning so I took my camera with me and had a wander for around for an hour in the city centre. I knew at that time at a weekend there would be very few people there and, even more unusually, there was blue sky.
