Just a random reminder that over 50 members of Congress collectively own millions of dollars in defense contractor stocks.

They stand to personally profit from wars that enrich these contractors.

Make no mistake, this is legalized corruption.

A five ish month old grey and white kitten looks past the camera, seeming vaguely annoyed. You can see about a quarter of a persons face behind the annoyed kitten. The kitten is pressed and laying directly on the person's face.

I had a kitten decide to lay directly on my face this morning.

From the 16th thru the 24th I had one day off from work, so I got some help doing the math and I walked over 118,000 steps.

I slept so hard. My body is definitely angry at me 😅 but im gonna do some chores today and be in bed the rest of the day cause work tomorrow! 🪦

My alarm went off for work this morning and I pointedly didnt burst into tears(yet).

...... I broke the soles on both of my doc martens.
I dont know how long they've been like this. I realized today that my feet were wet and that was weird.

As of today, I have been doing 5-10 minutes of yoga every morning for one year.

Thankfully there wasn't anyone particularly mean or rude yesterday, there were simply -a lot- of people. Many of them had no situational awareness or didnt care they were blocking entire main aisles, but we got through it.

They probably have either only one day or split days off this week.
They are probably under event- specific time crunch (cont.)

Weirder subjective too.
I feel like I havent done anything weird this year.
