One of Podz, Melton, Santos has to pop off.

I now don't need to provide context for some of my queries all the time, it can figure it out on its own. E.g. I can ask it to plan a trip itinerary for me and it already knows flight and accommodations based on gmail.

Google and Samsung just launched the AI features Apple couldnโ€™t with Siri Apple has even more to do to catch up.

Pretty wild that Google just showed up at the Galaxy S26 launch and announced an agentic Gemini that does all the things Apple promised Siri would do www.theverge.com/tech/884703/...

Nope, because the increased productivity is attributed to AI tools, which is right to an extent. It's a productivity multiplier. You can fast track your career by increasing your output while naysayers are holding back.

They don't get fired, not where I'm working. But they definitely aren't getting the best rewards because their output isn't the same as others.

Not in my immediate group, no. We have so much work we couldn't get to, now we can. Luckily we all have jobs because of this huge backlog.

I do not, even though that's one of the areas where we've seen huge gains. Learning new things is easier. Trying new technology is easier. Information is exponentially more accessible within an enterprise. This makes ideating faster, iterating faster, delivering more in the same amount of time.

It's not actually. My productivity has increased two-fold this past year. I'm able to get more things done, faster. Am I reviewing a lot more code than before, definitely yes. There are also other aspects of software engineering that have been automated or eliminated altogether thanks to AI tools.

Draymond is a turnover machine. His defense isn't net positive anymore. Kerr has a hard problem on his hands.

I think what's happening instead is salaries are staying stagnant because companies are able to increase output while doing layoffs or not increasing headcount. The ample supply of engineers in the market is allowing companies to get away without offering competitive packages.

I don't know how they still don't adjust against young athletic teams. They've been burned by this again and again but zero adjustment from players.

The difference being that your 30 years of experience will let you continue making progress when AI stops being useful. A lay person would simply have to give up at that point.

It's vibe coding only if you don't know what you're doing. A software engineer using AI to speed up development isn't vibe coding. Someone who's never developed anything and doesn't know how AI generated code works is vibe coding.

Defender already was into his tackle when Hurts began to slide -- which brough his head lower to where the defender's helmet was. Just not right.

Any thoughts on Kuminga not in the rotation?

This is fear mongering. These smart features have existed in Gmail forever. E.g. this is how Google calendar can create events based on your email. This is how Gemini can answer questions based on things in your inbox. Their privacy policy clearly says that personal info isn't used for AI training.

Steve had to take a timeout there. Can't trust the kids to make the right decision during chaos.

He benefited so much from Steph's gravity in the clutch. Multiple defenders were sticking to Steph even off the ball.

Why is it a good thing? Don't you want the ball 2nd?

Might've been intercepted even without the tip. That was in tight coverage again.
