It's time to repost this Easter masterpiece
Jonathan Bailey as Fiyero in Wicked, dancing as part of the Dancing Through Life scene
Tom Hiddleston dancing in his signature suit and tie, arms above his head with his head down as if watching his feet dance.
I actually have a sh*t tonne to do today - but instead have spent an inordinate amount of time wondering how I can get Tom Hiddleston and Jonathan Bailey to dance together…. Because I really can’t think about anything else!
Can anyone make that happen? I can’t be the only one - right?? 🕺🕺
Oh the shame of confidently shouting “Heaven is a Place on Earth” at @phlaimeaux.bsky.social and @maxrushden.bsky.social - only to discover later that this is also NOT correct 🤣
And now I’m left to ponder if I actually know any Debbie Gibson songs 🤷🏻♀️ #IYKYK #WDWDY
What a gorgeous morning 😃
I haven’t gone in get, because I’m not ready to be stressed- there’s enough of that in the world. So I guess my question is, is it stressful?
I loved S1, just holding out on S2 for some reason.
Róisín Murphy @roisinmurphy Feb 8 OK so “queer” was reclaimed. It went from a slur - to a political slogan - to a broadened identity - to a market - to a HUGE industry. The first rule of markets is expansion, and I have seen the expansion firsthand, and the cynicism behind it in my industry; the music industry. As long as a market is expanding, it is very hard to to fight its negative effects. While the money is pouring in nobody wants to critique it, even its worst excesses, even authoritarianism and child safeguarding get a slide. Quote Róisín Murphy @roisinmurphy · Feb 6 Replying to @proudbiwoman @Brig_333 and @daniellismore No one even used the term “queer” unless it was to hurt someone who was gay. There were some brilliant drag queens but they never said they were actual women. Oh and the parties were fun then. 🙄 Róisín Murphy @roisinmurphy · Feb 8 And I am not telling anyone what to call themselves.
So, Roisin Murphy makes the statement that 'no one used the term "queer" unless it was to hurt someone who was gay'.
I'm unable to ignore this.
The following isn't about making personal comments about Roisin and it's not about the merits of the word, it's about challenging a lie.
I love Stephen. The face of a doomed WW1 officer and the wardrobe of John Travolta. #thetraitors
I have a feeling this one will be going straight into the soup rotation! What a perfect January recipe. Thanks Colm 🙏
Beautiful!
This lovely story has proved a lovely balm in the madness of last minute Christmas supermarkets and post offices!
Thank you to DOD, Max and loving the addition of Jim on the keys.
Tapping my nails on the counter here waiting for part 3 tomorrow.
Have you heard the story of the green bunny?
I bought this for myself as a treat for Christmas reading. Haven’t started yet, this is deffo making me plan to start it tonight 😃
This fabulous woman never stops fighting - and I love her for it 📣
A greyscale cartoon of a movie promo poster featuring woman wearing a long scarf, ear muffs, a jumper, mini skirt and heels walking through snow holding a phone, handbag and a coffee, looking up at a heart that contains a bearded smiling man. The text around the image reads: SHE is a single, high-flying journalist writer baker living in the hustle and bustle of New York city who inherits a Christmas tree farm bakery hotel from her dead great-aunt in her tiny rural hometown and must choose between a promotion in the big city or writing that novel she's always dreamed of while opening her own bakery in Little Town, Vermont and also running a beloved local Christmas tree farm or something, I don't know. HE is a wholesome country boy she used to date when she was 16, with a heart of gold who has never left Little Town and says things like "You city folk", has never seen a mobile phone before and thinks Wi-Fi is witchcraft - he's handsome but in a non-threatening way, and gosh darn it he loves that damn Christmas tree farm and won't let those suits build a mall on it. Together they find true love - and themselves - in... Oh I did, thank you!! Seán is a grand delivery man 😉 It’s hanging in the Box Office waiting patiently for 2026.
My mouth is watering! These are definitely going on “the list”!!
Oh that’s gorgeous Marc! Just what I needed while doing the running around for stuff this weekend.
I hope you have a lovely Christmas.
Homemade street sign mounted on a hedge saying 'please go slowly round the bend'.
A week to go and #BobsRandomAdventCalendar is starting to run out of doors! But there's a few randoms left in the photo folder so let's have a peek at 17... Today it's a helpful street sign.
Now I’m crying. Not everyone knows that @stephenking.bsky.social can do that to you with his writing. Rob Reiner knew. What a gorgeous tribute.
A selection of beautiful prints, bookmark and cards. Christmas cards featuring an image of An Chailleach, Goddess of Winter. A print of an arty crow, in a fetching blue beret painting on an easel. And a Christmas card featuring the words Nollaig Shona with a crow and a snowman who are friends.
It’s a @ciaraioch.bsky.social delivery day and I’m delighted with them! What beautiful designs. Loving the arty crow and the fantastic An Chailleach cards. Thanks Ciara!
Perfect for a Monday morning.
This is the kind of news I live for on gloomy winter days like today! #TheGrandStretchIsBack
Love this news. Thanks for sharing, Kate.
This beautiful man turns 100 today. What a life! Love me a showman - and he still dances better than lots of people I know 🤣 I don’t watch this video often, it makes me cry…. But it’s worth it and fitting for today. Happy Birthday Dick 🎉
Gorgeous news.
So glad that I managed to get in here and pick up these beauties before they sold out again! My last minute-ism was really going against me, but you won’t find better than Ciara’s prints and cards.
The world’s first trillionaire initiated a move that has left more than half a million people dead, most of whom are children.
I learned about the ‘kiss the fish’ tradition in the musical Come From
