I start laughing every time I remember this was what I had to say about this show

Misericorde Represent!!
Shaving Smooth will make me God.
For a second I thought this was like key art from Marathon or something
Hang in there man. If we tough it out long enough we'll live to see the snirt chunker invented in real life. It'll all be worth it.
Every time I think about that course I always end up back at "we learned a fraction of what was even necessary"
That guy just walked right out of Iron Keep and over into a different franchise
Every time I think about Concord I remember the one article about the "toxic positivity" in the studio where they just kept going "It's Going To Work! The Ideas Are Good!" And refused to engage with criticism internally. Genuinely delusional.
That whole project is like a comprehensive manual on how to absolutely tank your own game. Kind of fascinating really.
durandal when he's winning: they're gonna measure my dick in lightyears, little man. i'm teleporting you into the ninth circle of hell, there's a button down there i need you to press. ciao
durandal when he's losing: listen man. we're gonna be ok. you're important to me

Is that good
Teppu rocks I've been meaning to revisit it for ages. It's got a very fun "swapped the vibes of the protagonist and her rival" thing going on too. I'd say Isshou Senkin is worth checking out while you're in that space as well.
20. Magic Cop (1990)
Has a slow starting act but once it gets moving this film is a blast. It has incredibly clean choreography, and watching Magic Cop just show up to every scenario and handle with Taoist wizardry never gets old. Extremely funny too. Absolute banger.
19. Tomb Raider (2001)
Kind of wild how a marketable blockbuster with a mediocre script of 20 years ago feels like it has more craftsmanship in it than most of the marketable blockbusters with mediocre scripts of right now.
18. Shooty Shooty Robot Invasion (2025)
Delightful goofball bullshit game. Funny as fuck and the art extremely charming. Definitely recommend.
it's like. artists can and will make incredible technical achievements and tell emotionally affecting stories, but that's just a thing anyone can do if they tried. it's just so weird to see it venerated in a way that ends up being putting a guy with funky ideas for a comic on a pedesta.
kind of fascinating how some people talk about mangaka like they aren't just some guy who can draw a lot of pictures really fast
17. Dark City (1998)
Pretty alright film, the most memorable part was for sure the noir-heavy permanent night atmosphere of the City itself. Every shot of the city was just full of personality.
the shootout in the club in the first half is so wildly kinetic and precise, it's so frustrating how we rarely get anything even close in most modern action movies
16. Bullet In The Head (1990)
This movie is on some other shit oh my god, crazy how tense this movie got in a few scenes. Absolute banger.
15. Citadel of the Autarch (1983)
This one is a weird one. The pacing is really awkward during the war story section, and I found some of the philosophical conclusions it reaches more amusing than anything. Overall still an enjoyable time.
It's sale season once again! Misericorde Vol. Two is less than ten dollars, and Vol. One is less than five. Get caught up, start the series for the first time, or give a friend the gift of depressed 15th century nuns 🗡️
It's especially funny cause it's from Chapter 1, got the lyrics and everything.
14. Neon White (2022)
You gotta have schmoovement to save Heaven.
they should have gotten the rights to the Rob Zombie track Revy listens to in the manga too
an oil painting of an inflatable alien looking through a makeshift UFO porthole
painted my favorite On Cinema moment in honor of oscar
