yes for sure!! the details of Burke’s charges were clear but the fact that they were dropped made me a bit wary + the fact that the Nugget didn’t name Sass, but I assume that was for liability reasons - would love to see a statement from the ITC with more clarity though!

more info here - both Burke & Sass were DQ’ed under Rule 53, governing musher conduct. i trust the ITC investigated, debated, and settled unanimously on the best course of action for the entire sport / race by removing them.
