April 17: This week that was supposed to be rainy and gross has turned out to be beautiful and sunny…and the allium are starting to pop open!
They really do. If you don’t finish them the murderer could go uncaught. It’s quite a responsibility.
That’s my plan for summer (and fall and winter and spring).

April 8: I was putting together a list of the books I read in March and realized that six of the 21 were 5 stars and another eight were 4 stars. In a month with a couple of one stars that seemed to go on forever, it’s nice to be able to focus on the good ones.

April 7: Hockey fights. I’ve seen women throw down, but the desire to repeatedly bare knuckle punch a helmet (sometimes around the ref’s head) is pretty unique to the men’s game.

April 3: A lovely lady in a FB group posts a roundup of free on kindle books every Friday. There’s always an absolutely unhinged one at the end of the list labeled “It’s Free and I’m Curious.” This week’s did not disappoint.
