Visit to the Barbican to see Fiddler On The Roof. It was fantastic and very emotional. I know the MD and was excited to see his work in action.
Well said!
Exactly. Perhaps they could hold QT on Clacton once a month and then his constituents might see him (in passing, not at a consultation with their MP).
Part of the issue is the US is so large. 2/3 of the population have no passport and do not travel outside. In the UK, almost all schoolkids would go on an exchange school trip to France, Spain or Germany. You're exposed to other cultures and realise they do things differently. It broadens your views
This is an excellent, and accurate, thread. I remember all too well what it was like 50 years ago and that's where they would like to take all of us.
I've been learning to use MuseScore 4 and have entered several karaoke songs at scores. It's really good, and great for practising and remembering songs. You get a really detailed memory of the note pitches and durations when you type them in. And the piano accompaniment is the same as you get live.

Summer and autumn birds 秋 and flowers 夏秋花鳥図 In the early 1830s, alongside his work on landscapes, Hiroshige began making pictures of birds and flowers. These four miniature prints are among his earliest designs on the theme. Each contains a poem. The block cutter skilfully captured the spontaneity of Hiroshige's brushstrokes. These small gems may have convinced several leading publishers to commission his later, more ambitious kachō hanga (bird-and-flower prints). Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) Small bird and cotton rose, about 1830 Parakeet and bamboo, about 1830 Cockerel and bush clover, about 1830 Owl and maple tree, about 1830 Colour woodblock prints British Museum 1915,0823,0.779; 0.781; 0.783; 0.792
六十余州名所図会 阿波鳴門の風波 Utagawa Hiroshige (1797-1858) Awa: The Rough Seas at Naruto, 1855 The Naruto whirlpools are among the most famous of Japan's natural phenomena. Many artists have celebrated them, including BJ Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849), whose work may have inspired Hiroshige's dramatic composition, placing the viewer in the middle of the action. The beautiful colour gradation gives the waves a three-dimensional appearance, creating the impression of a turbulent ocean. It wasn't until 2013 the US DSM removed sexuality references in its categories of mental disorders.
It came in 1988 under Thatcher. I started campaigning politically in 1990, partly as a result of this. Bi Michael Portillo supported it as a Minister! Local Labour councillors at the time were, in the majority, how can I say "not very supportive" of LGBT rights. Culture has shifted greatly since.
