You aren't ready what happened on Arbor Day.

Having said that I still prefer the Muppet movies where they play themselves as underdogs. That might be because those were the Jim movies, or because I was a kid when I saw them. I liked the 2011 film, but I didn’t like that they were World Famous Stars!
My hot #muppets take:The Muppets didn’t adapt movies. They did (surprisingly) accurate LITERARY adaptations. That’s what made them stand out. Sure these stories had been adapted a lot, but the movies made no specific references to them (and in the case of Wizard of Oz) actively avoided them.
Arcane is up there with Sense8 and (to a lesser degree) Centaurworld, in that its a miracle we got this viewpoint in this way without compromise. And unlike Sense8 they managed to plan around Netflix's tendency to end things abruptly. Creatives are starting to realize and plan for limitations.
You have to appreciate the confidence of a mobile game.
"Do you want to pay $70 for this character?"
Hahahahahaha, oh my god no. But good for you.
An intro in media.
One book - The Last Unicorn
One movie - Into the Spider-verse
One album - Demon Days
One TV show - The Good Place
One game - Borderlands 2
(and in general, throw in the Muppets where needed)
