Yeah, I've had great staycations. When I was a kid, it's what we did for years, day trips to attractions. We went to Blackpool once before I was 10. We didn't holiday abroad until I was 18, and even then the make-a-wish charity paid for half of it.

I haven't been abroad in 8 years. I have no strong desire to holiday abroad. 🤷

And, a staycation means staying at home for a holiday, not, as Radio 4 insist, holidaying within your home country.
