Why are all the marrieds who should've gotten a divorce at least a decade ago the ones who are the most insufferable to talk to when you're single?

“A political committee President Donald Trump uses to pay legal bills is in debt — and owes $1.6 million to a roster of law firms, according to a new filing with the Federal Election Commission. Trump’s Save America PAC is nearly $500,000 in the red, according to FEC data published Wednesday.”
Following the death of yet another Mexican national in ICE custody, Mexico’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs blasted “serious deficiencies in ICE detention centers,” calling them “incompatible with human rights standards and the protection of life” 👇🏽 #AbuseofPowerWatch
"María" has been picking strawberries for 17 years in CAs Central Coast. "This year, the strawberry harvest is not going well. I am worried because we only make minimum wage. We're not working a lot of hours and I don't know how I will meet my families expenses." #WeFeedYou.
This is a great podcast, and perhaps most importantly they shouted out material science (specifically the science of adhesion)!! Everyone should give it a listen!
And was there a deeper secret about dad?
Ok, now that I've read it, very curious about the morality discussion
Some of the most commonly enforced Jim Crows laws historically were anti-fishing and hunting regulations. At the time it was openly discussed that if black people had access to their own food procurement they would refuse to work as hard for white business owners or worse potentially go 'off grid'.
White people think they have the power to police Black people—strangers at that. It’s suuuuch a bizarre experience, when a white person confronts you over something they deem you shouldn’t be doing. And they will legit stand there waiting, expecting you to obey them in real-time as they command.
UPDATE: The LAPD officer at the center of this story -- Vincent Deglinnocenti -- is no longer an LAPD officer. Last month he surrendered his license to be a cop in CA. This comes a year after my reporting pushed the LAPD to investigate Deglinnocenti for pulling a gun on a teen. @lataco.bsky.social
Dear god. Very, very serious allegations of mass civil rights violations at the State of Florida's Everglades immigration detention center (officially known as "Alligator Alcatraz").
“Over and over and over again, the district court rules that this detention that’s happening on Camp Pendleton is a violation of due process, but they just keep doing it because most people don’t have an attorney that can get them out.”
This is the best thing I've shared in an article in a long-ass time. Dean Withers is a genius. You have to watch the video and read the transcript of it, too.
He just takes down Traitor Trump like a surgeon. Check it out here:

Todd is a good follow
It’s a good question, let’s clear the air:
1) Disco is awesome, like 25 all-time classic tracks in a 4 year span,
2) Disco was hated because it was queer, brown, and black,
3) Disco was hated because it paired women and men in a different power dynamic.
4) “Disco Sucks” was a “ MAGA” test run.
I never got the hate for disco, but I guess I was never supposed to 'hate' disco.
No matter the generation, every time we look at a music genre that becomes 'hated', it's always because of its roots in Black America.
That goes for jazz, rock and roll, and rap too.
the idea that vance is anti-war and was a skeptic seems really to come exclusively from vance and is not borne out by anything else in his record as vice president so far
An mRNA treatment for PANCREATIC CANCER was in trials, among many other uses. Choosing to end this research is choosing to sentence millions to an early, painful death
This is former Utah judge Kevin Christensen, charged with 8 counts of child sexual abuse. He's pled to 3 counts, and faces up to 15 years in prison and a $10,000 fine. Not an immigrant. Not a drag queen. Not undocumented.
He is, however, an elected Republican official.

DACA recipient speaks out after being wrongfully deported by the Trump administration:
"They handcuffed my feet. They put a chain around my waist... We're not human beings at that moment. We were items to them."
Host: Hopeless and humiliated. That is how one DACA recipient described the moment she was handcuffed by immigration officers and told she was being deported and separated from her daughter, a U.S. citizen. Maria de Jesus Estrada Juarez was deported to Mexico and remained there for more than a month
HOW DID YOUR COLORADO REPRESENTATIVE DO ON FARM WORKER OVERTIME PROTECTIONS? Less than a week after National Farm Worker Awareness Week, the Colorado Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources Committee voted to reduce overtime protections, increasing risks of fatigue, heat-related illness, and injuries for farm workers. Swipe to see how your representative acted! UNITED FARM WORKERS SI SE PUEDE UFW FOUNDATION
A+ Lori Goldstein House District 29 Mandy Lindsay House District 42 Tammy Story House District 25 A+ FOR SUPPORTING FARM WORKER SAFETY AND FAIR WORKING CONDITIONS These Colorado representatives voted NO on SB26-121, helping protect farm workers' overtime rights and safety.
FAILED Lori Garcia Sander House District 65 Dusty Johnson House District 63 Matthew Martinez House District 62 Katie Stewart House District 59 Larry Don Suckla House District 58 Meghan Lukens House District 26 Karen McCormick House District 11 Lesley Smith House District 49 Tisha Mauro House District 46 Ty Winter House District 47 THESE COLORADO HOUSE MEMBERS DID NOT PRIORITIZE FARM WORKER SAFETY These representatives voted YES on supporting changes that reduce overtime protections, affecting the safety and fair working conditions of farm workers.
WHY PROTECTING FARM WORKERS' OVERTIME RULES MATTERS Overtime protections ensures farm workers are fairly compensated for long, physically demanding work. Raising the threshold for overtime pay from the already high 48 hours to 56 hours a week, increases risks of fatigue, heat-related illness, and workplace injuries. Maintaining current rules supports the safety, health, and financial stability of farm workers. SB26-121 raises the overtime threshold, requiring workers to put in more hours before receiving extra pay. UNITED FARM WORKERS SI SE PUEDE UFW FOUNDATION
Less than a week after the Colorado House passed a resolution recognizing farm workers for Farm Workers Day, the Colorado Agriculture, Water & Natural Resources committee voted yesterday to decrease overtime protections for farm workers. How did your Representative do?
Over the past few weeks, the UMD Bulldogs, Merrimack Warriors, Wisconsin Badgers, Texas Longhorns, and Santa Clara Broncos, all flew their teams on this particular jet - Eastern Air Express's N808TJ.
Today it flew shackled ICE detainees between Texas, Nebraska, Minnesota, and Louisiana. 🧵
This has kept happening since it happened to Linda Tirado, and it happened before that - police know they aren't supposed to aim them at people's heads and are doing it anyway despite that. End qualified immunity.
I'm impressed you're sleeping a whole 8 hours!
Erika Arhuiz Vega died after suffering severe medical neglect at Core Civic’s privately owned ICE detention center in California City and being deported back to Peru. This isn’t the first case like this either and we fear that there is and will be more. @lataco.bsky.social
So the Dem tent can apparently include people who:
•Mock DV survivors
•Use the N word
•Fund and then deny genocide
•Demonize Muslims
•Oppose abortion access
•Dehumanize LGBTQ people
•Oppose voting rights
•Support killing civilians
But the line is Hasan Piker??🤔

From December 13, 2024, to June 4th 2025, Korea had six different presidencies. Cuz when they ain't fit for the job, they lose it.
if you feel like making enemies with your local utilities, one of the most fun ways is to get a law passed that utilities cannot pay for lobbying using money collected from ratepayers
