What do you think of these garnets in a matrix?

I'm not sure what the blue is.

I cut and polished this up. Not quite sure what it is. It might be dolomite. It was soft like calcite, but definitely had a different texture.

I cut and polished this petrified wood last night. I cannot believe how detailed this piece was. I genuinely thought it was a dud.

I found this little gypsum piece in an unexpected place.

Here's where I could use some help. I thought gypsum was usually more translucent than this.

I polished this last night.

From what I've learned it's a breccia dolomite that has been filled in with quartz. It was quite soft and easy to work down.
