Been pushing for this change for a long time. Sometimes patience and persistence are the most important part of civic life.

Fun (not really) to see infighting Dems in Virginia doing all they can to prove they don’t know how to collaborate or govern.
When your homemade dandelion honey vanilla syrup becomes the foundation of a cocktail: Montelobos mezcal, Amaro Nonino, lemon (or lime — both work beautifully), cardamom + chamomile bitters. The syrup ties everything together in a way nothing store-bought could. Came out excellent.
New cocktail syrup in process: lemon, honey, sugar, dandelion petals, and vanilla. I was this years old when I learned dandelion plants have tons of good for you things from roots to leaves to flowers. Let’s see what happens…
Ok, this ends my doom and gloom rant. What’s everybody drinking these day?
Inflation. High costs. No ability to pay for things. But hey, the Billionaires will be ok.
When the World abandons the dollar (it is starting) and our debt is no longer something other countries care to hold, things will crash fast.
So much of America’s success has been built on the idea of America. That idea is in hospice right now and the world is planning for what comes next. It turns out you can’t manage the world in ALL CAPS and 280 characters.
Is there like a citizen report link anybody can share for war crimes?
Started watching the old Sherlock series with my 12 year old. It is so good. We need more like it.
There are fewer men going into therapy work. I think that is a problem. Here are my thoughts and a little about why I changed careers to do this work…one of the best decisions of my life. www.rivergrovetherapy.com/post/why-i-b...
Once again Alexandria needs to find a superintendent. Our community expects excellence from our schools, but refuses to pay for it. We want it on the cheap. Our schools are harder to manage than others near us and our community complains endlessly about them. I don’t know who would want this job.
Plus housing is through the roof expensive as well as everything else.
In Frank’s vision we have crappy, poorly funded schools, no economic development, and no money for anything.
Unless the bigger plan is more grift, which is could be, I don’t think they are capable of sustaining focus on anything else.
It is funny, but mostly sad, that the new media and the stock market seem to take seriously anything the President says about the ongoing war. They just can’t bring themselves to believe he is totally winging it and lying regularly to cover it up.
This is an excellent point!
Listening to the Supreme Court conservatives try to justify not allowing late arrive mail ti count in an election…I mean, sure, let’s give the postmaster complete control over deciding if your ballot gets counted. SMH
I am always (I shouldn’t be) surprised to hear people argue against making voting easier and more convenient. What part of America do you not understand?
I’m excited to try this place!
Went to Hill House Nursery for native plants today to place around my Sperryville place. There is something really spiritual about planting things. It is a way of creating hope.
I’m watching Empire Strikes Back at a small distillery in Virginia. The current administration is making it hard on small business and regular folk. We need some Dagobah system finding of ourselves to push back.
Love that Hegseth is trying to cos play the crusades. Really swell. I’m sure no other world culture or religions will mind at all.
It seems clear that Silicon Valley’s goal is to stop people from coupling up. They have and are creating technologies that eliminate the need to manage, pursue, or otherwise engage in romantic relationships. AI, social media, robots take the complexity out of it. Who needs to deal with people…
It’s almost like all those programs to encourage clean energy production were not about being woke and may have been about national security and our over-dependence on global energy markets.
I’m working with Hill House Nursery and Morningside Nursery. I appreciate the offer and very well might reach out.
Wicked name, dude.
I’m building an amaro garden this spring. Native plants from Virginia. I have no idea how it will work out, but we all need to create our own path towards off grid living for the end of times.
I wonder what all those hyper masculine guys who like to burn oil and brag about gas guzzling trucks think about energy diversification and energy independence now? Think they are noticing how relying on one class fuel may be both expensive and risky?
There is too much risky debt out there. It is easy to see if you look for it. All the cards are eventually going to fall down. Trump bankrupted his businesses and he is on a path of bankrupting the world economy.
