this one felt like it was telling the "real" story, which makes sense bc they interviewed so many key people.

i'm pretty stoked to finally see media cover vaporwave this acutely and accurately. i've seen other documentary-style videos on the genre, but most of them either feel like they're missing pieces, or are just based on misunderstandings of it.

it really just got me thinking about where i was when TH came out. like, damn that was a long time ago!

on thing that excites me about new Boards of Canada is that i'm so much better at listening to music than i was going in to Tomorrow's Harvest back when it came out.

i don't understand why electronic music is so good. but it is.

i haven't gotten to be an active BoC fan during an album rollout publicly yet. this and the Porter+Ninajirachi thing run the risk of making me unbearable for the next few months. just a heads up!
