I hate the current status quo on this planet right now.

Does gumbo count? Because I did that today.

No flowers, but I too love trees. Especially with the lighting behind them.

We have so far replaced the fuse in the breaker box. Now we're buying a new outlet.

I broke the hallway bathroom. It was not my intention.

But I was using the vacuum to get the dog hair off the floor because the hair just likes to fly around to avoid a broom.

I was about half way through when the whole bathroom went dark.

So, yeah...I broke the bathroom.

Made myself some cute shorts, but they're a little loose, and I forgot to add the pockets. Lol. Good thing I have plenty of this yarn left.

It's amazing how entertaining one fat little carpenter bee is when he's on patrol duty.

It's a good story. It has its issues. But I love my descriptions. My prose flirts with purple without going over the top. I see my dialogue could use some tuning. I need to be better at endings.

But overall, I'm a good writer, and I need to remember that.

I picked up the only story I've sold. It's still weird to see the words I wrote printed inside a book. But I made myself read it again.

I have struggled to make friends my entire life. Somehow, in the course of a weekend, that has changed. I have found myself making real plans, and being so creatively stimulated that I cannot wait to sit down and write. It has been ages since I've been this excited about writing.

Watched Flow with the husband. Beautiful movie.

We never bothered with Valentine's. A week from now is 21 years together. Much more important.

What I love about my job is that it gets me to read books I would have never picked up from the bookstore. And some of them are life altering.

I've never had to pause an audiobook to sit with the emotions I was feeling until today. Highly recommend The Sing Sing Files. Specifically the audiobook.
