Have found out that I’m off to the Lewis Walpole Library in Connecticut as a Visiting Scholar later this year with my fab colleague Prof Maria Hayward. I am so excited.

There are around 10k private school kids in Edinburgh.

51 have moved to state schools in January.

As I've repeatedly said the effects of VAT on fees are going to be minimal.
