Ah ok.

Although, I’m only doing things that are in some way connected to Doctor Who. If you’re doing all of big finish, there will be some things beyond what I’m doing
Im doing this same project! Almost reached 2020 right now
bleak. It works because of strong writing. I think @lisamcmullin.bsky.social 's "The Flood" was my favorite in this set. I enjoyed the the interactions with the Prime Minister and environmental version of the disaster. However, the real heart was Clive's love story. I was surprised how much I cared.
Album cover with Rose, Jackie, Pete, and Clive.
Rose Tyler Dimension Cannon 1. This series is interesting. In one way, it's so comforting. This is that original family cast doing their fun goofy interactions, and I think the addition of Clive is clever because Rose always has someone to talk to. On the other hand, in every story, the end is so...
"The Sacrifice of Jo Grant" by @guyadams.bsky.social . The two emotional moments of the 3rd Doctor talking to a much older Jo ( @manningofficial.bsky.social ) and Kate Stewart talking to the Brigadier in the past were perfect. Entirely appropriate for an anniversary and so well done.
Album cover with Doctor 3-8 and many companions.
Legacy of Time. There is a lot to like in this one. I truly think all 6 stories are wonderful and I love the appropriate link to @bigfinish.bsky.social 's history with the Sirens. I also loved the introduction of new history with first TARDIS flight. Of all the stories, my favorite is definitely...
Album cover with the Unbound Doctor and Benny
Now fixing that mistake. New Adventures of Benny 5. My favorite of the set was "Burrowed Time" by Lani Woodward. There's a lot of wonderful emotion in dealing with the time dilemma. However, I also loved the Doctor and Benny needing to act pedestrian in "Dead and Breakfast" by April McCaffrey.
Ooo! I just realized I skipped one ahead in Benny's stories. Will do series 5 next.
The struggle for the two to communicate was well-handled and wonderful to listen to. I also loved "Gallifrey" by @guyadams.bsky.social and @
@alexandrakbenedict.bsky.social . It was a great crossover, and the surprise of hearing @seancarlsen.bsky.social 's Narvin was so fun. Great stuff.
Album cover with Benny in Timelord Regalia, the Unbound Doctor, and Narvin
New Adventures of Benny 6. I really enjoy the relationship between @lisabowerman.bsky.social 's Benny here and the Unbound Doctor. It's so contentious, but you can hear the caring underneath it. For this reason, "Have I Told You Lately?" by @verbatimfoley.bsky.social was my favorite of this set...
felt like a tribute to the history of the show. I think my personal favorite though was "Peepshow" by @guyadams.bsky.social . I love Carnival of Monsters so hearing a story going on in the background was a real plus for me. All in all, a great set.
Album cover with River Song, the Unbound 1st Doctor Team, a Sontaran, an Ogron, a Drashig, a soldier, a Yeti, Jago, and a magician.
Diary of River Song 6. This was a really fun set. Finding ways to hide River in the background of classic stories was a fun concept, and all four stories work well. I very much enjoyed "An Unearthly Woman" by @mattief.bsky.social . It sets up Barbara and Ian as the curious teachers we know. It...
Album cover with Captain Jack, Jo Jones, and a maggot
Album cover with Suzie and a Slitheen
Eve Myles plays her part perfectly. Other stories had lots of fun surprises. I never would have expected to hear @manningofficial.bsky.social in a Torchwood Green Death Sequel or to hear Annette Badland have her Slitheen character interact with Suzie. Lots of fun here!
Album cover with Eve Myles and a Fendahl
Torchwood Monthly 25-30. I like the monthly series much more than "the story continues." It's more of a classic Torchwood feel, and that's really what I'm interested in. My favorite of these six was definitely "Night of the Fendahl" by @verbatimfoley.bsky.social . It was wonderfully creepy, and...
parallels to modern class issues. It's bleak and perfect for the Time War. It was also really interesting to explore more about the Valeyard in "The War Valeyard" by @johndorney.bsky.social . It's a unique take on a time loop story, and I enjoyed Jayston's performance.
Album cover with the 8th Doctor, Bliss, the Valeyard, and Tamasan
8th Doctor Time War 3. Lots of expected time war darkness in this set. I loved "The Famished Lands" by @lisamcmullin.bsky.social . The situation that the Doctor finds himself in is horrifying, as a planet's population has found a joint solution to starvation and lack of defense. It had notable...
Generic Subscriber Short Trip album cover
Subscriber Short Trip - An Ocean of Sawdust. This was just a listen of pure enjoyment. It’s an 8th Doctor story in a wonderfully fanciful world. I don’t think it would work on TV, but it worked well here.
Album cover the the 6th Doctor, Peri, and some Daleks
"Emissary of the Daleks" by @andr3wsmith.bsky.social . It's a wonderful exploration of how people deal with political pressures and the effects that can have on families. I found the resolution very compelling and VERY Doctor Who.
Album cover with the 6th Doctor, Peri, and a robot-human looking hybrid
Monthly Adventures 253-255. "Memories of a Tyrant" by @rolandmooretv.bsky.social was a really interesting story. At first, I thought we were a getting pseudo-River Song type arc where people are meeting in different orders, but the revelations about memory were really clever. I also really enjoyed..
"The Coney Island Chameleon” by David Llewellyn were wonderful period pieces where the Master starts as a quiet manipulator in the background until his scheme comes out in a jarring betrayal. It was awesome hearing the 8th Doctor and War Master together int he later stories too.
Album cover with the Was Master and the 8th Doctor
War Master 3: Rage of the Time Lords. I really like Derek Jacobi’s Master. His balance of quiet scheming and cold harshness is perfect for the character. I liked all of the stories in this set, but the first two were my favorite. Both The Survivor” by @verbatimfoley.bsky.social and...
Album cover with Captain Jack, Yvonne Hartman, Mr. Colchester, Ng, Tyler, and Orr
Torchwood God Among Us 3. This series is always little tough for me. I can'd help but make comparisons to the original Torchwood team. I will say that I thought Andy's character arc was fantastic, and I thought the end left things in a place that excited me.
to @oldsixie.bsky.social ’s 6th Doctor pretend to be Jack. The other two stories were quite fun as well, but the first really shined.
Album cover with Captain Jack in the 6th Doctor's clothes.
The Lives of Captain Jack 2. I liked this release quite a bit more than the first, and a lot of that has to do with the first story “Piece of Mind” by @gossjam.bsky.social . It was extremely fun listening to Jack pretend to be the Doctor, but it was even more fun listening...
of the rival human, sontaran, silurian gang. I wonder if we’ll see them again. I also loved “The Ghosts of Greenwich” by @mrpaulmorris.bsky.social . It was a wonderfully atmospheric mystery.
Album cover with Madame Vastra, Jenny, and Strax
Paternoster Gang Heritage 1. I have been excited for tis release for a while. The dynamics of the Paternoster Gang are just so fun, and given the necessary end of the Jago and Litefoot range, it’s nice to get more Victoriana. I enjoyed the idea in “A Photograph to Remember” by @roygill.bsky.social
Baker?
Yeah, Tolstoy was trying to argue that a rural and simple religious life was better than an urban life of passion. I do agree with you though. The final section is especially tough because it’s well past when it feels like the book should end.
Anna Karenina is incredible. I read it in a Russian Lit class I took in college. The passion of the love story! For a while…
