The worst flaring in the world?
The Kitimat, B.C., facility burned 350 million cubic metres of gas in 2025. That’s more than any other LNG export facility on record in 2024,

Astronaut Chris Hadfield performs a spacewalk outside a spacecraft, wearing a white spacesuit with a Canadian flag on the arm. He is tethered to the structure, with equipment and tools attached to the suit. The curved edge of Earth is visible below with clouds and blue atmosphere, while the background is the blackness of space.
On this day in 2001, Chris Hadfield became the first Canadian to perform a spacewalk. Hadfield was Mission Specialist 1 on STS-100 aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour. During the mission, Hadfield performed two spacewalks, and spent 14 hours, 50 minutes outside.
PM Carney on a report of the US demanding concessions before further trade talks: "It's not a case of the United States dictates the terms, we have a negotiation."
Thankfully he's across the water. . . 😉
He seems to have significantly depleted a variety of weapons systems, including Patriot missiles
Dare I say that he has decimated them?
He has actually done more than just decimate them because, for some weapons, it's reported he has used up 50% of the available supply.
Did Trump run out of bombs and money?
Global warming: The number of heat-related deaths is rising significantly in Europe, according to a study. The risks from tropical infectious diseases are also increasing. www.zeit.de/gesundheit/2...
Dear American friends, if you no longer believe in your democratic institutions, this is the only way. 👇🏻
R.I.P. Gabor Szilasi, Montreal’s unofficial documentary photographer who folded art, design, and architecture into life.
Merci Stéphane.
I guess that covers the funny part. 🤣
I actually am comparatively fearless too. 😀😇
I seem to recall that T.S. Eliot was a Unitarian.
#UnitarianUniversalists certainly claim him as a "famous Unitarian".
I wonder what he'd think of Unitarians accusing a #ClergyAbuse critic of #BladphemousLibel for blogging about #UUpedophiles & rapists?

You talkin' to me?
Not that lawyers need AI products to make shit up.
Lawyers have been #MakingShitUp for centuries, if not some millennia.
I quite enjoy challenging the shit #lawyers make up. 😀😇

Dear Republicans,
On Virginia, you got no one to blame but yourselves. We call this “hoisted by your own petard.” This is what you get for pledging your undying fealty to a corrupt, cheating, anti-democratic idiot.
Sincerely,
Your Former Republican Colleague
Thanks Jack 🥹 I am honoured …
I was definitely thinking of the Mystic beast squashing his opponents as opposed to the vegetable
Stenness: The northern lights over Stenness, May 2025. Three impressive uprights, originally a stone circle of twelve stones 30m diameter, in a rock-cut ditch like the nearby Ring of Brodgar. The enormous height and narrowness of the huge slab must be seen.
fun fact when the US navy did war games against swarms of small fast attack boats they lost
Where are the #morals or #ethics in accusing a #ClergyAbuse critic of #BlasphemousLibel for #blogging about #UUpedophiles & #UUrapists?

Where are the #moralsANDethics in lying about #ChildSexAbuse in a #UUABoard apology for #ClergySexualMisconduct?

This is why Vought didn't want to tell Congress how much the war is costing us last week. We're going bomb broke.

What's going on with dumbass's grip there. He seems to be letting the dao slide forward in his hand on the thrust. This is a good way to watch your dao fall on the ground from literally any parry.
My own first experience in dealing with Iranian diplomats followed the sinking of the Iran Ajr in September of 1987. Much to my surprise, my counterpart received his masters degree from the Georgetown School of Foreign Service. He was completely professional and spoke perfect English.

Prime Minister Mark Carney stunned some #Canadian historians over the weekend when he released a pointed video message about the U.S. featuring a War of 1812 general who led the charge against the American invaders of that era.
