It is, yes! π’
I have grimly soldiered on (now on episode 4). Every minute I fervently thank my lucky stars I donβt live in the US!

....and when I say move on I mean either for Starmer to go now or get on with the job (make your bloody minds up quickly Labour MPs)......We have far more pressing issues to deal with as a country than Mandelson.
Starmer made a mistake over Mandelson. He wasn't (perhaps) officially told about the failed vetting but would have been aware of Mandelson's past.
Unlike the Tories whose governments were rotten with lies, deceit and (PPE) scandals that cost lives, this issue is not that, so can we please move on.
It was a real pleasure to meet you and have a chat! Hope we can do it again soon.
And hope you enjoyed your day βοΈπ
Thank you for this positive information, Sarah. At least, I hope itβs positive!
Reformβs idea is still loathsome though.
Stephen Miller's wife says of women:
"Our biologic destiny is to have babies."
No. It is our biologic blessing to have offspring if we choose to do so. There is no biologic destiny to be forced to conceive and carry to term even knowing that we are too young, too ill, or just incapable of nurturing.
Apart from the sheer immorality of this loathsome plan, who exactly is going to be doing all this reviewing? Home Office staff have fallen woefully behind on processing asylum applications as it is. So are their numbers suddenly going to be doubled?
Youβre right, I had forgotten this.
Guilty as charged.
The Americans donβt seem able to uphold their *present* constitution, so Iβm not too optimistic theyβll be capable of actually changing it any time soon, unfortunately π’
Surely not! π€
Same in Germany. I also always apply for a postal vote (simple, reliable procedure) so I donβt even have to go out to vote, and can take my time over my decision.
Didnβt Boris Johnson have his security clearance reduced because of fears he would leak secrets? While he was [checks notes] Foreign Secretary?
Life seems to have taken a sudden lurch into a new unpleasant normal, doesn't it? I'm sure things used to be a bit less apocalyptic in the past. Indeed, I remember life being refreshingly boring.
A wise decision, dw i'n meddwl, Roger! π€
Now thinking Ian and Will's best bet would be to be emergency airlifted back to the UK before they both perish from Sudden Onset Culture Shock.
Iβm struggling myself!
After ungritting my teeth, I'm making another attempt at watching BBC's Twenty Twenty-Six.
It seems it's achieving the virtually impossible - making US corporate culture even more cringeworthy than it already was.
This may be a compliment to the series; my personal jury is still out.
Congratulations! π€
Inspiring! ππ«Ά
I had to pause the BBC's Twenty Twenty-Six. Right now, I'm finding the American corporate culture satirised in the series simply impossible to bear. Even though I know it is indeed satire.

Rachel Reeves warns other budgets may be cut to lift defence spending.
Hitting the old, sick, disabled, public services doesn't produce a resilient society. How many will die?
Govt created Β£895bn QE to rescue banks, why not the same to rebuild society?
2010-2025: HMRC didn't collect Β£500bn tax.
Yes, opinions changed later. And as I said, it never put us off!
