In 2004, I interviewed for a teaching position. The principal asked me how many kids I had. I answered. He asked if I was planning to have more —said he couldn’t afford to have another teacher out on maternity leave.

This is why women need protections, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Apple board pushes against diversity rollback call - BBC News The tech giant has asked investors to reject a proposal from a conservative group to end its DEI policies.

Glad to see not all US companies are folding DEI plans.

Unconscious bias is still real and many management decisions are impacted by it. So having checks and balances to mitigate against this bias is the only way to have balanced workforces that are fair to all employees.
