Five blooms of unusual red tulips (almost starfish in shape and open, with yellow stamen) framed by variegated green leaves that struck me at first as weeds. The tulips are bunched together almost like a natural bouquet in the ground, and are surrounded by uncultivated brown soil, dead grass and a smattering of weeds.
Found in the wild today in otherwise non-descript terrain on Colorado's front range: Greig's Tulip, native to Central Asia, w/brilliant red petals framed by variegated green leaves that struck me at first as weeds. Bloom where you're planted seems trite. More of a rebellion against the mundane.

> Sixteen of these thousands of cards ... [represent] the only former employees of this terror headquarters who ever faced prosecution. And three of these cards are raised further -- showing the trio who were eventually convicted. That is just three out of a total of 7,000.
> The index cards cover an entire wall, several hundred ..., containing names, dates of birth and handwritten notes. They are the details of some of the 7,000 former employees of the Reichssicherheitshauptamt, ... -- the men who worked at the very epicenter of the Nazi terror regime.

Nazi parade and crowd in front of former Gestapo HQ in Berlin. Goofy short man with Hitler mustache, hurrying along.
Adolf rushing to his cobbler's shop: his new lifts just came in.

It's mind-blowing how many galaxies there are in our universe.
They are everywhere you look once you use a big enough telescope.
