There will be a lot of posts soon from people sharing how much they achieved in 2024. But, in case someone needs to hear this… it’s ok if the only thing you did this year was get through it.

$1616 a month plus utilities just outside of Madison WI. The only reason it’s that low is that we’re grandfathered in a little bit.

When I was in high school, the guidance counselor used to speak really scornfully about easy electives like "underwater basket weaving" but I have contemplated this for 35 years, and I still think underwater basket weaving sounds really hard.

I did the same thing and had to go through the process of updating my passwords. And then immediately deleted it lol

Thank you! It took a lot of time but not a ton of effort so it was a good starting point for trying a new dish.

Here’s dinner last night, I was very proud of it! Homemade mashed potatoes, braised short ribs, and a sauce reduced from the braising liquid. Very tasty! That’s the first time I’ve done short ribs, I’ll definitely do them again. #food

What’s up, BlueSky?! Here’s my dog, Tasha. She’s a retired racer who’s the most spoiled pet now. She’s one of my best friends so you know I’m cool (but not so cool you should invite me places after 8, we go to bed at 10:30)

These books got Me back into reading when I went through the phase of not knowing what I liked anymore. I love Ally Carter’s style and story building and I really related to her characters. And I still love her other books as an adult!
