Crocotile 3d v2.6.9 is released!
This update improves importing models. Triangles now get paired into tiles, attempting to find best quad shapes while considering uvs as well.

It's more that I'll be in-game and people will start asking about specific issues and things and I go into problem solving mode and thinking about bugs and features and stuff.
I feel like I didn't have a weekend where I wouldn't have to worry about work stuff in a while and it's kinda draining :(
Even if I try my best to avoid it, other people will bring stuff up and start talking to me about work stuff.
It feels non-stop.

17 hours basically alone in #Resonite, that's how long it took for me to self-learn the ropes with unfinished documentation. But now I got facial tracking working and mapped! I now have a working avatar ๐๐ป Who's up for shenanigans? Next up: Stream setup and world building...

Eee thank you! It was kinda coming for a good bit, that it doesn't feel as huge on my end (especially with all the custom renderers that community is already making).
That just happens naturally when you confuse OpenGL and DX11

We just open sourced the Unity-side of our current renderer for @resonite.com!
Because we want to:
- Help the custom renderer efforts
- Allow community patches
- Provide reference for community help with new official renderer

There's a myth being circulated that the @resonite.com Unity SDK will make it more difficult for us to move away from Unity as the renderer.
This is not true.
It was specifically engineered so it doesn't tie us to Unity.

a thousand or so Firrs all mixed up and layered over each other, as a result of SOMEONE replacing all my vertices with billboard stencils. Basicaly instead of a 3d model there's pictures of firr everywhere. It's a mess, much like my social life

Sometimes I take for granted how much you can do with #resonite
Yeah. Those are most frustrating, because even if you do everything perfectly, there will be things you can't control.
It always makes me think of the Star Trek quote: "It is possible to commit no mistakes and still lose. That is not a weakness, that is life."
Yup, I get that feeling. Sometimes you just need some Ws desperately, but instead it's just more stress and stuff to knock you down.
I think it's why a lot of projects and businesses fail, people get worn out and give up.
It takes a lot of will to persevere.
