So the earliest it can be published by the sounds of it is 11th of May? Does the commons and lords have to be sitting the day it's published?
EHRC confirms that there will be changes to the draft guidance.
Talk about how “narrow” those changes are suggests it will still be fundamentally based on the same transphobic core:

Photo with text “Denial and/or Prevention of Identity The existence of an identity is actively and systematically denied or obstructed from manifesting itself from within the social world through laws, decrees, speech acts, and practices of groups in power or groups seeking power. This denial and obstruction can take the form of revocation of citizenship, denaturalization, withholding of official recognition, and creating conditions preventing communal identity development
Lemkin describes denial of identity as “The existence of an identity is actively and systematically denied or obstructed from manifesting itself from within the social world through laws, decrees, speech acts, and practices of groups in power or groups seeking power”
In addition to a red flag alert, genocide watch in 2022, issued a Genocide Watch alert which Genocide Watch has confirmed is still active covering transgender people.
Lemkin issued a red flag alert in June 2025, with the example of denial of identity being used toward trans people, as the primary reason for the alert. They said “We see evidence of genocidal intent and actions targeting these communities.” - www.lemkininstitute.com/red-flag-ale...
I would argue this is a textbook example of Lemkin’s 9th pattern denial of identity. Denies trans girls the right to have the childhood they deserve and based on extreme ideology captured by the gender critical ideology in the UK and abroad.

⚠️ PUBLIC HEALTH WARNING: We believe NHS England and DHSC policy on transgender healthcare shows signs of ideological capture by the gender critical movement. Current decisions risk serious harm to trans people and undermine evidence-based care.

But one thing is clear: the EHRC's services code is wrong, and must be rejected.
In a pretty grim decision - with one very considerable silver lining - the High Court has dismissed our challenge to the EHRC Interim guidance.
A number of resources follow in a 🧵.
Listing in the Administrative Court for tomorrow not before 11am: read out of the judgment in our challenge to the EHRC Interim Guidance.
Had to take the dog to the vet today. Chewie was apparently stung by something which caused an allergic reaction. All good though and he was treated with anti histamine and anti nausea medication
I‘m discontinuing my social media use for the foreseeable future and I want to explain why.
I woke up in the new year to discover that some guy on here had saved photos I took on New Year’s Eve and used Grok to remove my clothes. I know this because he showed me.
It will cost between £2000-4000 for a rent + 2-3 months deposit to move in to a flat/house in Denmark.
If it is softer and less restrictive we will likely stay till my surgery is done, if it's coming out in strict and restrictive guidance, we may leave before.
Update on our fundraiser. Thanks to the help of people we've managed to pay of some of worst debts + save up a small chunk. Still planning on leaving at some point this year, although depending on guidance / when and how it's implemented, we may wait for my surgery first.
There's also no certificate involved, it's mostly done digitally, and some of the changes is done automatically so you don't have to show the letter. Tax system and that is all taken care of
It's free, and it only takes 6 months +1-2 weeks sometimes. You can even get an X in your passport.
Danish personal registration numbers is also the way people identify themselves instead of giving bank address, name and so on. Instead you often just give your number when calling gp/bank
You can apply for new passport, driver license, birth certificate and so on (same cost as normal). Changing gender legally, requires no payment, only a boiler plate template to copy and paste, and slightly modify. No one then knows you've changed gender legally when looking you up.
Once 6 months have passed, the user gets a new personal registration number (which is only knowledgeable to government registration office you've changed gender legally). You get a letter linking old and new number so banks can change gender and registration number over.
I despite the wait, think the Danish approach is alright/decent. Someone uses a template which is sent through digital post (not email) and the user receives a confirmation. Once confirmed, the user have a 6 months reflection period (no requirements on the user to prove or reach out to any solicitor
As the EHRC closes down for Christmas, I can confirm that Akua Reindorf has fewer than five working days remaining as its commissioner.
This is quite concerning. I think some of the recommendations in this review on paper is good, but I’m concerned a bit about its implementation and a lot of it can be implemented wrongly.
• shanging the role of the Adult Gender Services, so that patients are discharged from the service at an earlier stage of the clinical pathway and for the surgical units to take on responsibility for assessment of suitability for surgery;
Levy wrote that surgery was outside the scope of his review, but NHS England have decided to disconnect it entirely from GIC pathways.
Implies longer waits with more gatekeeping hoops.
I just read NHS England’s response to the Levy Report. It looks good at first glance. Now I’m reading the full report.
