It’s called strength in numbers and a news media that won’t run with stories until they have corroboration and incentive. There’s nothing curious about it if you know what both female and male victims go through to be heard. Watch “Spotlight” re: Boston clergy abuse.

Ally spoke truth to power and I know from experience that it’s really difficult. Nothing can prepare us for this experience because it’s like no other. Thank you Ally and all of the brave survivors who came forward to the media in whatever way they could.
