GitHub - mjdave/katipo: Katipo is a new type of decentralized network, designed to be used by and for people Katipo is a new type of decentralized network, designed to be used by and for people - mjdave/katipo

The Katipo source repository is now public! The internet is broken in ways that can't be fixed. But we can build new alternatives, and this might be a good place to start. github.com/mjdave/katipo

Both EGGNOGG and Arecibo Man have been fun, plus there are other prototypes that have been super fun as well, and may eventually see the light of day. It's whatever thing I am doing that lets me unleash my creativity.

OK I'm actually going to make Pi Zero 2 W a legit target for my stuff, actually seems like it should be readily achievable and a fun goal. I developed Saucelifter and Fargoal on a Pentium II, after all. I'm counting on you to do the heavy lifting though, SDL3 🙏

We didn't have $1 million for a Game Awards trailer so we’re posting Icy Tower here for free instead!

Gotta make sure my next games will run on the Raspberry Pi or something, since we won't be able to afford the (6._.)6 "fancy RAM"

No, that's not one of mine! Isn't it still available somewhere?

Shit shit shit.

Difficult realization that we're financially at our limit. I need work yesterday to support my wife and I. At this point, anything goes. Full time, part time, you pay and I code for you.

I'm going to bump this just one more time here. I don't want to be a downer.

I'm a 25 year professional software/game dev/community organizer that's in *DIRE* need of employment ASAP! I've been stuck in tech-company interview & waiting hell the past 9+ months. I desperately need a job or gig now. 💜

Haha.. if EGGNOGG Rumble was being developed for 10 years straight, it would have taken over the galaxy by now. I haven't really done much with it in that time. I am thinking to do a sort of incremental version (EGGNOGG++ perhaps) and rework what Rumble will actually be after that.

Who would drop a new game, unannounced on the same day as Deltarune 3 & 4? 👍🤪👍 This guy! Here's Hard Code, an attempt to make the perfect ball droid sim using mouse controls, a short but polished game for $3 for PC and Mac.

if you're looking to learn martial arts for self defense in a protest scenario, judo is a really good idea.

it's MUCH easier to learn trips, throws, how to use your weight, breakfalls, scrambles, etc than to learn striking.

striking is great but it takes a lot longer to achieve proficiency
