Make every day count- A reflection from 5 years ago today. jayposick.blogspot.com/2025/03/make...
They're apprehensive at first, possibly thinking that I might not follow through. But after 3 or 4 days, it's something we both look forward to, and it oftens last more than 10 days.
2x10- spend 2 minutes with a student for 10 days. The student determines the topic for the daily conversation. #EduSky
A2 for me it's the level of anger and aggression across the board. We have to learn how to treat each other with a touch of humanity. I focus on that heavily in the class on human skills #leadlap
Have a great week, #leadlap family. Take time for you so you can take time for others next week.
A3: Caring about ALL kids and staff and serving our entire community. #leadlap
A3 We need to keep an open mind. We need to stay positive with each other. We need to listen to understand. We need to keep our focus on the needs of our students, staff, and families and support them in any way we can. #LeadLAP
A2 Honestly, the most difficult part has been working with individuals who only see their point of view being the only relevant point of view. That could be students, staff, parents, or my own relatives. #LeadLAP
The battle is real! #LeadLAP
A1: It is so important to get accurate information from a variety of reliable sources...but to also not fall into the rabbit hole of doomscrolling. Get the info you need, stay informed...then get out w/o letting it suck you into the abyss. #LeadLAP
Some days I win that battle...some days I don't
A1 I'm retired but still educating (currently part time assistant principal and long term special education sub). I rely on my current administration to keep me informed. #LeadLAP
Hey, Dave! I try to go to one a year to keep up. I'm with my daughter today at #EdCampElm. #LeadLAP
Seems pretty quiet this morning. But the session I'm in is really noisy!
Good morning, Beth! Joining #LeadLAP from #EdCampElm.
The chat is on for this morning! We will dive into navigating the political changes as a school principal. #leadlap

I have been reaching out to local schools in Vancouver, WA to make connections! Was happy to deliver a staff set of journals, a signed #tlap, & a copy of #SheLeadsk12 to Hazel Dell Elementary principal, Lisa Reed, yesterday! #LeadLAP #dbcincbooks #EduSky
A4: Seeing the kids starting to take ownership of their learning. We've focused on student agency and it's starting to really be noticeable in all that we do. #leadlap
This is it ! @simonsinek.bsky.social
A4 I am most proud of former students who are now educators. But the number one proud moment is my daughter being a teacher and a coach, and maybe heading into a leadership role. #LeadLAP
When I've tried to meditate I fall asleep. I don't think that's the intent of meditation so I must be doing it wrong. #LeadLAP
A3 I enjoy watching Kelsey Grammer's Historic Battles for America and as much sports as I can muster. #LeadLAP
I feel you, Jay! #LeadLAp
