Shoot Vientos into the sun.

Lindor is hurt, isn’t he?

Awesome to see we're at the recriminations phase of the season on... April 22nd. Who is reporting this?
Mendoza should be fired today and Stearns should be fired for not firing him yesterday.
Another nonsensical lineup put out by Mendoza. God save McLean.
Let's be real about the Mets. Outside of about 4 months in 2024, this team has been total ass since 2023. A .463 winning percentage since the start of 2023 if you exclude the Jose Iglesias run from June 3rd onwards in 2024.
11 in a row. Mendoza cannot manage another game at Citi Field.
Mets fans that need to shit on Stearns need to stop spending time talking about Alonso where he made the correct decision, and start talking about Rico Garcia instead.
McLean and the fucking bums.
Francisco Alvarez is 5th in MLB in xwOBA this season, so it's really great that Mendoza has been batting him 9th for most of the season.
What if the Mets just make Jose Iglesias the manager?
They still have the Iglesias button unpressed!
“Should’ve” is a strong word for it. Benge or Taylor have a decent to good shot to catch that. Baty has no chance.
You could just write, "...the Trump administration misunderstood how..." and explain nearly everything about anything to do with the Trump-run federal government.
I think they went 4 for 8 on these.
It's not thinking at all. It's an inexplicable desire to want vaccines not to work.
Ronnie!!!! LGM!
Luisangel is so fast and so good defensively that he will likely be a fringe Major League bench player for a long time.
Mark Vientos has already matched his fWAR output from the entire 2025 season on April 5th. I really, really hope this continues and that I was dead wrong to write him off as just a platoon bench bat against lefties.
Is the Mets 3rd base coach unaware of how fast Robert Jr. is?
I don’t want to overreact 6 games into a season but I do not like what I have seen from the Mets everyday players so far, at all. Juan Soto is literally the only exception to this as is Carson Benge. I’m actually pretty disgusted by their play since Opening Day ended.
This guy was a complete steal.
Why is Mendoza just pushing a randomizer button for so many of his position player decisions in this series?
Why is Mendy using Benge to pinch-hit here?
They're not going to use them in a game they're losing late in that situation. A better question is, why exactly did Mendy pull Myers after 4 outs on Monday? If we're going to roster 2 long men, they have to get 6 to 12 outs every single time you use them, or else you're in this spot over and over.
Lovelady was actually the right choice last night considering the state of the bullpen right now. Manaea is the root cause of this.
