Something I’ve always enjoyed is making autograph art for individual vips at a convention that links together to form one giant scene!

This was for one of Nightmare Night Dallas conventions back around 2013/2014. Loved how it turned out!

A decorative title page printed in red and black. An architectural frame is flanked by two classical draped female figures holding garlands with tassels. At the top, a medallion contains a bust of Athena wearing a helmet. At the bottom, stacks of books flank an oval cartouche bearing the publisher's details.
The title reads: Literature of Libraries in the Seventeenth and Eighteenth Centuries, V, edited by John Cotton Dana and Henry W. Kent, published by A. C. McClurg and Company, Chicago, 1907.

I have forgotten what it feels like to not have the weight of a collar around my neck.

And that is one of the most wonderful feelings in the world <3

Evocative “I’m a horse so I can relate” aside,

- This horse is reasonable
- This horse is polite
- This horse is logical
- This horse is a good horse and the fact they don’t exist doesn’t change the fact that they *must* get cake.

This horse is a good horse and I *need* the follow-up cake review

This is true and I was the only one on set excited about it (and playing the song on my phone to blank stares)

“I will NOT sacrifice the Oxford comma. We've made too many compromises already; too many retreats. They assimilate the em dash and we fall back. They capture ‘not just X but y’ and we fall back. Not again. The line must be drawn here! This far, no further!”

It’s Time To Grow Up | Defector HBO’s new Harry Potter TV series is premiering this Christmas Day. Under current plans, it will last at least a decade. The trailer looks like the original films were run through an AI generator, but quality isn’t the point. The show is a transparent attempt to induct a new generation—and market—into the lucrative fantasy world…

"Rowling has fashioned herself into a very powerful enemy of transness. Her intellectual properties, particularly the ones under her control that she directly profits from, are thus, in a very literal sense, tools of the enemy"

Here's a permission slip from me, since apparently we sometimes need them: you are allowed to rest. Not just when you're ill, or when every other option has been exhausted. Time to pause and integrate is part of every living creature's natural rhythm.

The Largest Physician Organization In The US Reaffirms Gender-Affirming Care Is Medically Necessary The American Medical Association is setting the record straight on trans people’s health care—expressing its full support of keeping decisions in the hands of doctors, patients, and their families.

1. The largest medical organization in the United States, the American Medical Association, has reaffirmed that gender affirming care for trans youth is medically necessary.

I'll be inducted into the Dominatrix Hall of Fame in May at DomConLA. This has been on my bucket list for a while, and will finally be realized this year, my 19th in the business. I'm so excited!

For reasons that elude me, I’ve been watching Yellowstone, and I have to say, I haven’t seen this many people so keen on ponies, rope, and branding since @campcrucible.bsky.social.

I don't think cis people can comprehend how radicalising it is to spend any significant portion of your life wanting to not be alive until the solution you find happens to be the same one that western civilization suddenly decides it wants to kill you for taking

A queer pony player, with several partners across the gender spectrum, who loves you unless you are a bigot or transphobe, in which case his heart holds nothing but contempt for you, and he will take your hand just to spit in your face.

He’s at a renaissance faire.

I’ve been as buried as everybody else, and less so than many, but I’m still here despite it all. I’m sorry I’ve been quiet.

I love you. ❤️
I’m proud of you. ❤️
You’re doing great. ❤️
I’m glad you’re here. ❤️💯

Unless you’re a bigot or transphobe. If so, you’re nothing to me, you contemptible coward.

It’s not ‘Gatekeeping’ to throw bigots out of your herd and community, it’s grounds-tending.

Pony play is a source of joy, bridled and unbridled. Transphobes do not deserve joy, and I will make it my whole month, seeing you excluded from the spaces I frequent or events I teach at. Get fucked ❤️🐴.

worth remembering, David Lynch directed “fix your hearts or die” specifically at transphobes. it wasn’t a generic “no mean people allowed” statement, it was said by his Twin Peaks character in defense of a trans woman he cared for and deeply respected.
