“Cowboy in a tent”

Sometimes you trudge into an obligation (this time literally through a muddy parking lot) and suddenly see this through the darkness. The sound of acoustic guitar and accordion surprising the air.

I can’t get over this screenshot I took during the Sturgill Simpson/Johnny Blue Skies livestream on @nugsnet.bsky.social. Tuning up for one of the best shows I’ve ever listened to. This “Why Not???” is a historically amazing tour. 3.5 hours a night of amazing performances.
