A photograph taken on a bright April afternoon of a semi public footpath leading to a local nature reserve type space. The path follows a railway track separated from it by a chain link fence. A post of which is in the foreground. Concrete speckled with lichen in a variety of colours. To the left and in low focus the Cherry blossom in full bloom is bright and fresh. The greens of the grass verging the narrow path are rich. The sky a pale and cool blue echoing the cool of the April afternoon in spite of the sunshine. Westbere Lakes, East Kent. Poor accessibility wise. This scene took me to childhood and the countryside rambling or even walk home from school I would have grumbled about at the time 🤩
