There’s no coalition to make with lunatics.
I’m as into accepting problematic converts into the opposition to Trump tent as it gets but Tucker Carlson is no for me
true for a lot of bands but probably most true for this one
I still have no idea what that was supposed to mean
That should increase velocity, decrease everything else I think

I don’t think the sentiment comes out of _nothing_ but it’s actual economic importance has to be less than 30% of WHY people are talking about it
Plus a material number of people keep bringing this up because their hobby is yelling at Stancil and they cast about for reasons to do that - this one is maybe the most common.
We are posting on a website that has succeeded a small number of demographics but it is definitely for clever people with too much time on their hands who enjoy complaining about things .
But also, I find the “there must be something to it if we keep talking about it”
statements to either be naive or disingenuous.
Journalists have probably taken a real hit to their real income in the last decade. Education, housing, health care and child care are all expensive enough that paying for all of them at once is terrifying - especially if you live in a coastal urban area.
I think there are Real Things that would make segments of people feel more precarious than you would see in price adjusted income data and stratified surveys about household income.
God help me I’m tempted to engage in real income discourse.
Saying “I’m broke “ and getting shouted down with aggregate data I mean
I’m sure it has happened but I’ve seen zero instances of someone saying “I’m broke”
and I’ve seen hundreds of instances of people yelling that BLS data must be fake because it contradicts their lived experience
Nobody needs to be told "don't overthink it" quite like the people who post about lineup optimization for kids' teams on r/softball.
