An intergalactic ultra-heavyweight boxing match between two hulking gorillas - Chimp Ion, a prizefighter from the planet Bolgani with green fur, green skin, black gloves and shorts and two antenna protruding from his head; and Apeman, a simian superhero from the planet Earth, in purple and yellow ring attire - both of whom are bruised and bloody-nosed in the midst of battle, with Chimp landing a hard straight left to Apeman's jaw. Overseeing the proceedings in the role of referee is @dubbawide.bsky.social's anthropomorphic lion Indy, who is keeping an eagle eye on the action to ensure a fair fight.
This year marks the 10th anniversary of Boxing Gorilla Day (yes, it kicked off on a whim in 2016), and we're shaking things up a little.
