Been there, done that. It sucked.
Good morning, Amber 🌄
I fully understand that
By the late 60s/early 70s numbers, I technically make more than my parents could have comprehended.
Given a generation later, I'm expecting to drop dead at work in my 90s.
If I last that long.
Wall Street also doesn't want you to know that if minimum wage had kept up with inflation, it would be in the upper half of the $20/hr range.
And people wonder why every single bill that would have banned members of our government from making stock trades while in office has died in committee.
🤔

Today I turn 89. I’ve seen this country at its best and its worst, and I know how much community matters. For my birthday, I’m asking you to stand with PFLAG and support the work that’s helped so many in the LGBTQ+ community, including me. give.pflag.org/page/95493/d...

This song was written right after Columbine.
It's truly sad how little has changed in 27 years.

Seriously.
On top of the fact that for the last couple months, I've thankfully been able to say, "Thank goodness for the HSA I've been dumping money into for years."
This BS should be illegal.
I'm not even getting into the month of multiple daily phone calls re FMLA and STDI paperwork.
🤬🤬🤬
The first term.
They learned back then to not have any adults in the room to say "No."
This is far worse.
He's not wrong.
Back in '15, when Donald's potential candidacy was first being joked about, a guy I know was all about it.
I said that if he were actually elected, his would be the most corrupt administration since Harding.
I was wrong.
He made Harding look like a Boy Scout.
And that was just...
Bust up big corporations and tackle Wall Street’s greed.
Get big money out of politics.
Strengthen unions and boost wages.
Pass Medicare for all, paid leave, universal childcare, and so much more...
This is the agenda Democrats need to fight for.
It's not enough to simply be anti-Trump.
As Trump's war on Iran continues, reminder that his own son-in-law Jared Kushner — who is leading negotiations with Iran — stands to profit from lucrative contracts with its regional rivals.
War gives dictators like Trump (and his family) more power and more wealth.
💯 🎯
(the midterms can't come soon enough)
When Trump loses power, his assets should be liquidated and returned to the American people.
The "State's Rights" party seems to have conveniently forgotten the 10th amendment.
Again.
And people wonder why any bills brought up re: banning members of our government from insider trading never make it out of committee...
🤔
Seriously.♥️
Oh how I miss President Barack Obama! 💔
Far too many members of Congress, of both parties, are far too interested in retaining their seats because of the money from their corporate sponsors.
#OverturnCitizensUnited
🤣🤣🤣🤣
I laughed a little too hard at this.🤣
Congress is somehow beholden to the executive, who called these heroes "suckers and losers."
Among others, both of my grandmothers died of Alzheimer's complications.
I'm a machinist.
By no means a neurologist.
I've been saying for years that I've seen several forms of dementia several times over the years.
What we've been seeing from Donald, particularly in the last 15 years, is VERY familiar.
But he and the rest of Donald's cronies are making a killing on insider trading!
