Never take seriously those who ridicule low income people for having a smartphone or laptop.

“If they’re so poor how did they buy an iPhone???”

Because they’re trying to escape poverty, not the 1700s, genius. If you think basic tech access is unnecessary or a luxury, survive a month without it.

I appreciate this because it’s also applicable to those of us not pulling 6 fig salaries, who others will sometimes try to shame for shopping 🛒 at the only places we can afford.
As you state, *Boycotting large chains is a privilege*
Same applies to *moving*

I'm always so amazed when I hear Americans say
"health care is a privilege, not a right."
Like how do you reach a point in your life where you think people deserve to die because they can't afford healthcare.

THE PENTAGON BUDGET JUST HIT A TRILLION DOLLARS.

Not a single pundit from either political party said “how are we going to pay for it?!”

Don’t dare tell us we cannot ALL have healthcare, housing, and education.

Can someone please explain to me why masking is not required in NICUs and PICUs (among other places)? These are very vulnerable patients. And one in 5 children and adolescents with Covid-associated hospitalization are admitted to ICU. We must protect our babies and children!

Always exciting to see people building collective energy but I hope this doesn’t end with just gathering people up to funnel them back into the arms of the same old warmongering corporate Dems, incremental empty promises and eventually a campaign run on no more than “lesser of two evils.”

Notice how this article doesn’t make the worried “moderates” specify what they mean by “tug the party left.” What issues are they worried about, exactly? Civil rights? Womens rights? Economic rights? LGBTQ right? Let’s be clear.

Reflecting!

“It’s taken my father’s time, my mother’s time. My uncle’s time. My brother’s and my sister’s time. My nieces’ and my nephews’ time.
How much time do you want? For your progress.”

This is what all the campus beat downs, police brutality, and unnecessary arrests of the past year have led to: opposing US foreign policy is a crime.
