Is GCSE PE Really PE? What would a genuine GCSE PE course look like?

An honour to write this blog with @LizDurdenMyers

This one could be controversial, so I’m keen to hear what you think.

I think we should focus less on gaining more PE. More of the same isn’t the answer! Instead, work collectively to improve quality of PE we do have.

Prioritise learning, movement competence & positive experiences.

This will increase value of PE & in turn could equal more PE!

I've kept this one quiet for a while!

When working with primary schools, writing the Primary Concept Curriculum & as a father, I see how powerful stories can be to get young children moving.

This inspired ‘The Movement Monster’, turning storytime into playtime.
